I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to Bunkers. It is a hillside close to Park Güell with a fantastic view over the city where people come to chill and watch the sunset.
I went there on my second day here, so it quickly became one of my favourite places in Barcelona. Up there you can really see how big the city is! Barcelona does not have a lot of tall buildings, so Sagrada Familia can easily be spotted. Despite being such a beautiful place, Bunkers is normally not crowded because it’s not a typical tourist place. We usually bring food and drinks and just sit there until the sun has set or until it gets too cold.
